Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using NannyBooking.org. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. The Platform
NannyBooking.org is an online marketplace that connects parents seeking childcare with nannies offering childcare services. We provide the platform and tools to facilitate these connections — we are not a childcare agency, employer of nannies, or party to any agreement made between parents and nannies.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the platform. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Nanny Listings
Nannies are solely responsible for the accuracy of their profile information, including experience, qualifications, availability, and rates. NannyBooking.org does not independently verify the credentials or background of any nanny listed on the platform.
Nannies must not post false, misleading, or fraudulent information. We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these terms.
5. Bookings and Agreements
Booking requests and acceptances constitute an agreement directly between the parent and the nanny. NannyBooking.org is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the performance of either party.
Parents are encouraged to arrange an introductory meeting or call before the first session. Both parties should agree on all terms (rates, schedule, duties) before the session begins.
6. Fees
Nannies may join and list their services free of charge. Parents may be required to pay a platform fee to access contact details and initiate bookings. All fees are clearly displayed before any charge is made.
NannyBooking.org does not take a commission on earnings agreed between parents and nannies. Payment for childcare services is made directly between the parent and the nanny.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to circumvent the platform's booking system to avoid fees
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without permission
- Impersonate another person or entity
8. Reviews
Reviews and ratings are provided by users and reflect their personal experience. We do not endorse or verify the content of reviews. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines, including reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or irrelevant.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NannyBooking.org shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from any childcare arrangement made through it. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to NannyBooking.org in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that nannies will meet your expectations. Parents are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any nanny for their family.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion if we determine that a user has violated these terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users or the platform.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which NannyBooking.org is registered.
